Keller Kids
Thursday, June 27th, 2013 - 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Keller Kids is the disability-education portion of the annual Helen Keller Festival. In its 20th year, Keller Kids offers elementary school age (3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th grade) children the opportunity to learn about the everyday life of persons who are hearing impaired and/or blind. This fun filled day of hands on educational experiences includes a Keller Kids tee shirt and lunch. Keller Kids graduates will also be give then opportunity to participate in the Festival Parade on Thursday, June 27th and in a Festival Stage event on Saturday, June 29th. This year’s Keller Kids will be limited to the first 100 students registered.
